SHNU: The Course-completion Ceremony of the Eighth-term Chinese Class of Botswana Confucius Institute (CI) was held from February 2 to 6.
Ms. Liang Bizhen, councilor of Chinese Embassy in Botswana, and relevant staff from the University of Botswana attended the ceremony. Also present were 202 students who had passed the exams and obtained course-completion certificates. The top three students received awards from the Institute.
Up to now, the ninth-term Chinese class has enrolled 270 students in 15 classes. It is worth mentioning that 5 of the 10 teachers are local, which means another significant progress has been made in the localization of CI.
