SHNU: On February 16, a delegation headed by Ms. Elizabeth O’Neill, Executive Vice President of Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE), paid a visit to SHNU. SHNU President Zhang Minxuan, Vice President Ke Qinfei received the guests.
Zhang highly praised the achievements of the cooperation between SHNU and CIEE, hoping more programs about internship and further education on broader fields and higher levels would be established. Ms. O’Neill said she were happy to help SHNU students study in the US and to recommend more overseas partners to SHNU with long-term cooperation, which would enable more international students to study courses of science and engineering. SHNU signed a Work and Travel USA Program with CIEE in 2009. The ten-week program has helped SHNU students expand their horizon and enrich their knowledge. |
