SHNU: On September 14th, the US Aeolus Quartet feasted the eyes and ears of SHNU teachers and students on Fengxian campus, stealing the show of this year’s International Art Festival.
During the concert, the Aeolus staged performances of Quartets in A Minor composed by Mendelssohn and Beethoven, drawing thunderous applause and cheers from the audiences. A Chinese traditional folk song, Jasmine Flower, tailed the end of the show.
Winning 2009 Coleman Chamber Music Competition, 2010 International Chamber Music Ensemble Competition in New England, and Plowman Chamber Music Competition, the Aeolus Ensemble was invited to China for the two-week performances.
