SHNU: A delegation from Universal College of Learning (UCOL), New Zealand visited SHNU on July 27. The delegation was headed by Clive Jones, the Vice President and Bruce Osborne, Director of International Exchange Department.
SHNU Vice President Gao Jianhua extended a warm welcome to the guests on behalf of the university. He said the two universities could start from the short-term student exchange program, from the co-operation in relevant majors such as information technology, photography and so on.. The two parties discussed such specific issues as student exchanges, mutual visits of teachers, joint education, etc., and reached a preliminary intent of cooperation.
Founded in 1907, UCOL is one of New Zealand's fastest developing universities and has had excellent performance in professional and technical education for years. It currently has 8,000 full-time and part-time students.
