SHNU: On June 10th, Mr. Sugiyama, Former Director of Japan Sugiyama Jogakuen Unviersity, visited SHNU and was received by Cong Yuhao, SHNU Vice President.
Cong welcomed Mr. Sugiyama and thanked him for the contributions he made to the communications between the two universities.
Mr. Sugiyama reviewed the implementation of the 1997 intercollegiate exchange agreement between the two universities, high level mutual visits and teacher and students exchanges during the past 14 years.
The students exchange program started in 2003. Mr. Sugiyama was employed as honorary professor of SHNU in 2005. In 2009, teacher exchange program was kicked off. For several times, Sugiyama library donated books to SHNU, and there is now a Sugiyama Book Trove on Fengxian Campus of SHNU.
