SHNU: On February 21st, a delegation composed of Otemon University Counselor Sato, Vice President, and Head of Alumni Association visited SHNU, and was received by Lu Jianfei, SHNU Vice President.
As early as 1980, Sato started exchanges with SHNU and conferred the scholarship to the students of Shanghai Experimental School (attached to SHNU) for several times. On his advice, SHNU established official interscholastic relationship with Otemon, and kicked off the students exchange program.
Last year, SHNU Folk Music Troupe was invited to perform in fall to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Otemon.
The members of alumni associations of the two universities met to discuss how to begin beneficial cultural exchanges.
Founded in 1966, Otemon included 5 undergraduate departments, and 4 postgraduate majors. In the coming September, SHNU exchange students shall be sent to study in Otemon.
