SHNU Sino-African Students’ Cultural Exchanges Group Returns Home

SHNU: As part of the 20+20 Cooperative Plan Program of Chinese and African universities, the SHNU Sino-African Students’ Cultural Exchanges Group kicked off their journey to Botswana University on December 5th for a one-week cultural exchanges program, and now has returned to China.
The visiting students gathered with African students and staged a wonderful show in the MP Theatre of Botswana, and Gou Haodong, Counselor of Chinese Embassy in Botswana and his wife, journalists of Xinhua News Agency in Botswana, attended the show.
Xinjiang folk dances, traditional Chinese folk musical string instrument erhu playing, traditional Chinese water and ink painting, sculptures carving of Chinese characters, calligraphy performances, Taiji and Chinese kongfu show – all of these have raised waves of acclaim and applause from the spectators.
The ensemble staffs of cultural exchanges group concluded their show in the choir of a famous Chinese folk song, Jasmine Flower.
