SHNU: On July 6th, Bernard Goffee, renowned bryologist from University of Connecticut, was invited to hold the floor at the 2010 SHNU Xuesihu Overseas Master’s Forum, and delivered a speech entitled Progress and Perspectives in Molecular Systematics of Bryophytes and Lichens. Dr. Bernard is mainly concerned with the studies of systematic evolution of bryophytes and the related reproductive mechanism, as well as the spreading of spores.
