On October 28th, the 7th China Innovation Challenge Contest (Shanghai) and High-tech Scientific Results Conference were held. Zhou Xiaoping, a teacher from SHNU College of Information and Mechanical Engineering won the prize of Outstanding Challengers.
Since July this year, the contest, held online and on the scene, centered on solving the technological demands of the enterprises and collecting the solutions from the general public. Altogether, 156 innovation demands have been launched to the society and 378 feedback solutions from university institutions and enterprises home and abroad have been received. At last, 5 enterprises won the prize of Outstanding Technology Demands and 3 teams won the Outstanding Challenger Prize.
The SHNU winner team led by Zhou designed and researched on hypobaric hypoxia systems for the animals, and solve the problems of insufficient number of sterile white mice.
