On October 27th, according to the Protection Notice on Historic Sites in Shanghai, and Review Plans of Ancient Historic Sites Protection, a team composed of 7 Shanghai experts visited SHNU Library for review on the ancient books of SHNU. It was attended by SHNU Vice President Jiang Mingjun and representatives from SHNU Library.
The team was shown around the ancient book hall, the digital workroom, the repair room and the show-room, and visited some precious ancient books at SHNU Library.
This review check marks an all-inclusive preview of protecting the ancient books for years. In the last 15 years since the implementation of Chinese Ancient Books Protection Plan, SHNU has been aiming at inspiring something new from these protected items and activating them through recyclable protection, promoting their popularity among more teachers and students so as to inherit the traditional Chinese culture.
