Psychologist from Michigan State University Speaks at SHNU Scholars' Forum

SHNU: On invitation of SHNU College of Education, Frederick T.L. Leong, professor from Michigan State University, visited SHNU and spoke at SHNU Xuesihu International Scholars’ Forum with the theme A Diversified Portfolio Model of Adaptability for SHNU teachers and students on June 18th. As a professor of psychology and psychiatry, Leong acts as the chief editor of APA books. He was conferred the copper plate and seals.
Leong briefed on the research background and theoretical bases of career adaptability diversification and the connotations and significance of it. He also mentioned different ways to improve the adaptability through specific case study. Also, he introduced his future research direction and hope that the audiences could bring into play what they have learned here.
Leong also exchanged with the students in terms of such issues as how to break from traditional bondages and seize more chances of career adaptability diversity, and how to quantitate it.
