SHNU:Themed Starting the Dream, the arts performances by Beijing Arts Group of the Disabled were staged at Fengxian Theatre of SHNU on May 24th. The group brought a dazzling feast of visual arts for teachers and students of SHNU.

As the first arts group of China, the Beijing Arts Group of the Disabled has been founded for 25 years and enjoyed fame for taking part in 2004 Closing Ceremony of Paralympics in Athens, the 2005 CCTV Spring Festival Gala and 2008 Opening Ceremony of Beijing Paralympics, etc.
The most eye-opening scene of the show is called Thousand-hand Guanyin, which implies lending a thousand hands to help others with kindness and love and extend them to more people. The performers, the deaf and dumb dancers, presented graceful gestures to the audiences and inspire them to attain more in life.
The show lasted over two hours. It is a part of the programs of SHNU campus cultural activities.
