Sinologist and Astronomer Speak at SHNU Masters' Forum

SHNU: Two famous scholars arrived at SHNU Xuesilu Overseas Masters’ Forum on November 2^nd, Christoph Harbsmeier, sinologist from University of Oslo in Norway, and David Koo, astronomer from University of California, Santa Crutz (UCSC). The two delivered impressive speeches for SHNU teachers and students.

 

Mr. Harbsmeier narrated on the importance of Chinese language research on the database and illustrated the studies of sinology classics with his logic backgrounds. Mr Koo’s speech themed Supermassive Black Holes: From Today’s Galaxy to Cosmo Parasites. Over 200 teachers and students listened to the lecture.
