Sponsored by Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau, Shanghai Social Organizations Management Bureau, and SMG Group, the 2019 Public Welfare Ceremony was held on September 21st.
SHNU Student Pan Chunhui won 10 Best Public Welfare Stories for innovative business starting. At the ceremony, a social group made up of SHNU visually impared students from College of Philosophy and Laws, staged a dazzling performance of short play. The performers presented an inspiring morale which struck a chord with the audiences.
During the period of 2002 to 2018, SHNU has enrolled 61 students who are visually challenged and established the first free learning space of Shanghai for these disabled students. It aims at creating a fair chance for them to practice and learn, so that they could indeed become adapted to college life and pave the ways for future development.
