2012 – present: Associate Professor in Life Science Interface with a joint appointment between the Institute of Life Sciences and Department of Chemistry, University of Southampton, UK.
5/2010-8/2012:EPSRC Fellow, Department of Genetics and Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge. Established an independent program on biomedical applications, especially in cell biology, of novel spectroscopic techniques.
10/2008-5/2010: Post-Doctoral Research Associate, Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge Cambridge, UK with Prof. Jeremy J. Baumberg, FRS. Researched nano-optical techniques.
09/1999-7/2003:Scientist ‘B’(1999-2002),Scientist ‘C’ (2002-2005) in Defence Research &Development Organization, India. Led a team of 12 staff comprising other researchers,research assistants and technicians for method development and environmental analysis.
8/1998–9/1999:DRDO Fellow in Defence Research & Development Organization, India. Researched hydrogel-based anti-septic wound dressings.
