The EXPO 2012 Yeosu Korea will be held in Yeosu, Korea from May 12 to August 12, 2012. It is estimated that more than 100 countries and international organizations will participate in the event that is expected to attract eight million visitors. The colleges of SHNU are now required to help recommend volunteers. The requirements are as follows:
1. Applicants should volunteer to serve the EXPO 2012 Yeosu Korea;
2. Applicants should abide relevant laws and rules of China and Korea;
3. Applicants should be born between May 12, 1972 and May 12, 1990;
4. Applicants with fluent Korean and English are favored;
5. Applicants with experiences of serving in large-scale competitions or exhibitions are favored;
6. Applicants should pay for relative fees by themselves including fees for air ticketstravel by themselves.
The duty of volunteers is to provide guidance and consulting service to guests in the EXPO site.
