To colleges and institutions of SHNU:
According to the circular of the General Office of the State Council and that of Shanghai Municipal Government as well as considering the reality of our university, the President's administrative meeting has decided on this year’s National Holiday arrangement as follows:
1. There will be 7 days off from Oct 1 to Oct 7. The university will run on Sep. 29 (Saturday) and Sep. 30 (Sunday). Normal office hours and classes begin on Oct. 8.
2. Classes on Tuesday Oct. 2 are to be shifted to Sep. 29, and classes on Wednesday Oct. 3 are to be shifted to Sep. 30.
3. Every college or institution shall assign necessary work to ensure the security during the holiday period. There shall be proper on-duty arrangement, and the list of persons on duty shall be sent to both the President’s Office (xiaoban@shnu.edu.cn) and the Security and Safeguard Department (hhy@shnu.edu.cn) before Sept 29.
