On Recommending Teachers to Work in Brunei Darussalam

Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Shanghai Municipal Government plans to send two teachers to work in Brunei Darussalam. Our university is entrusted to recommend appropriate teachers. The basic requirements and teaching tasks are as follows:

1. Basic requirements:
• With high teaching morality;
• Good at inter-personal communication;
• At least with Bachelor’s degree and three years of teaching experience;
• With teacher certification (or the Qualification Certificate of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language);
• Standard mandarin and passable English;
• Good health with no record of serious illness;
• Below 45 years of age.

2. Subjects and term
• 1 person is needed to teach music and dancing; 1 person is needed to teach martial arts. (They will teach Chinese in primary and middle schools as well)
• The term is 2 years (from Oct. 2007 to Oct. 2009)
