To colleges and institutions of SHNU:
There will be a series of activities in our university to celebrate the 23rd Teacher’s Day:
1. Opening ceremony of Teacher’s Talent Show
2. Seminar on awarding outstanding teachers
3. Issuing the title of honor to those teachers with 30 years of teaching experience and discussions afterwards.
4. Ceremony on the adoption of new homepage of the university website, and the commencement of its English version
5. Watching the theme gala for the 23rd Teacher’s Day called Teacher-Our Common Name (On show at 19:30 for Dragon TV, and 20:30 for Channel of News and Entertainment)
6. Watching a documentary program about He Baogen, a teacher who recently sacrificed his young life to save one of his students. (at Eastern Sky, CCTV 1. The program will be rebroadcast at 4:54 pm Sept. 10 and 9:10 am Sept 11 at News Channel, CCTV)
Those people who shall participate in the seminars or discussions will be informed on further notice.
