SHNU: On May 17th, Daqian Li, professor of Fudan University, and internationally well-known mathematician and member of Chinese Academy of Sciences, was invited to visit SHNU and delivered a report on Math and Basic Education Course Reform. It was attended by about 200 teachers, students and other representatives from SHNU.
The speaker pinpointed on why students should learn math, how to learn it well and some basic education course reforms. After the report, Li answered some questions from the audiences and hoped those teachers interested in basic education could join his research team.
