Scholar from Boston University Speaks at SHNU

SHNU：On March 31^st, Dr. Mary Huges, was invited to SHNU for hosting a workshop on English education to promote the development of English education in SHNU. More than 20 English teachers attended the workshop sponsored by SHNU College of Foreign Languages.

 

As a lecturer of language education from School of Education of Boston University, Mary Huges is the director of TESOL Online Program and an expert of native language and second language acquisition, language education and linguistics. Her theme for this workshop is Instruction Complex Syntax in Authentic Academic Texts, followed by discussions on complicated grammatical rules in reading academic essays and related pedagogy theories.
