SHNU: Sponsored by China Park Association and Shanghai Greenery and Public Sanitation Bureau, the 2017 Shanghai International Flower Show opens at Shanghai Botanical Garden on March 24th. The works of teachers and students from SHNU College of Life and Environmental Sciences, the Journey of Life, won the highest Prize----Platinum Prize in the group of Future Horticultural Designer Scenery.
Themed Delicate Gardening, Beautiful Home, the show attracts about 40 horticultural designers, landscape planning, flower planting and industries management companies, as well as professional institutions and gardening experts from Germany, France, Israel, Thai, the US, Netherlands, Switzerland, Hungary, and Japan, etc.
The works feature raindrop garden, plants scenery wall, wetlands system and biodegradation. This marks the third consecutive time that SHNU students have competed for the prizes. Some of the gardening graduates were admitted as employees in advance. Some were invited to attend other greenery and gardening contests. |
