SHNU：Recently, 600 overseas students from over 90 countries completed their registration procedures at SHNU and had their opening ceremony at ICCS (International College of Chinese Studies). Altogether, 202 degree candidates, 76 pre-college students and 318 language students are enrolled. These students were expected to take this opportunity to be adapted to Shanghai lifestyles and improve Chinese proficiency.
After the opening ceremony, the overseas students followed the students’ volunteers and were shown around SHNU. After that, they returned to their classrooms with their class schedules and textbooks. The students were also instructed on classroom locations, campus smoking control regulations and campus parking rules, etc.
