SHNU: On February 20th, SHNU Party Secretary Teng Jianyong met Dr. John Harcourt, Vice Chancellor of Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU), as well as the Market Director, Dean of Physical Education and Sports Science, and Director of Chinese Affairs. Both sides had deep and expansive discussions in terms of students and teachers exchange and cooperation in starting campus football education.
In particular, discussions centered round students exchange of campus football trainer majors and cooperative education programs of football trainers. Mr. Harcourt was quoted as saying that LJMU would further cooperation in education, scientific and industrial cooperation. LJMU would establish an Office of Chinese Center, as an important strategy of internationalization of the university. SHNU can become an important strategic partner of LJMU.
The visiting group was also shown around the physical education and football training site of Middle School Attached to SHNU, and Shanghai Shenxin Football Club.
