2017 Arts Show Staged at SHNU CI of Mizzou

SHNU: On January 27th, SHNU cooperated with Mizzou (University of Missouri-Columbia) to stage a showcase of Chinese traditional Spring Festival Arts Show at Battle High School in the US. After two months of preparation, the show was presented to the audiences. At that night, over 100 actors from 9 schools performed at the show and attracted about 1,000 audiences.
It falls into two parts: quiz and arts show. The quiz took panda dolls as prizes to invite to the players the essence of Chinese traditional culture. The show claims 16 programs, including dances, songs, Chinese Kong Fu, allegro, short plays revised from folklores, and Chinse folk music performed by both Chinese and western musical instruments.
It received wide attention from local citizens and was reported by local media, such as Columbia Missourian, Columbian Daily Tribune, and Vox Magazine, etc.
