SHNU：Sponsored by SHNU College of Tourism, Nara Prefectural University of Japan, and Ritsumeikan University of Japan, the 6th Sino-Japanese International Symposium on Urban Population and Space Development was held at SHNU Conference Center. It was hosted by Director of SHNU Sino-Japanese Geographic and Sightseeing Research Institute affiliated to SHNU College of Tourism and attended by scholars and professors from various universities in China and Japan.
Themed City, Population and Space Development, the symposium addresses issues of transportation congestion, population surge and aging, space limitation and environment deterioration, etc. The scholars of China and Japan exchanged ideas on current issues which challenge the social development and discussed about the future development of aging population.
It is hoped that the conference could bring an opportunity of academic and thoughts exchange in terms of urban space development and contribute to the friendship between China and Japan.
