American Library Expert Visits SHNU Overseas Masters' Forum

SHNU: On November 16th, Shin Freedman, Professor of Library Academic Resources of Framingham State University of the US, visited SHNU and spoke at Xuesihu Overseas Masters’ Forum themed Starts Your Dream: A Librarian to Become Fulbright Scholar. It was hosted by Vice Director of SHNU Library.
Freedman exemplified her own work and academic experience by expanding on her challenges and complexities, her career identification of a librarian, career plans and research, her experience to become Fulbright Scholar and reviewers of IFLA (International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions) and several academic journals.
Freedman graduated from Simmons College with a master’s degree in library and information science, and an MBA from Bentley University. Now she is the director of Library Academic Resources of Framingham State University and guest professor of Public Management College of Zhejiang University.
