SHNU：The results of the Royal Society Wolfson Research Merit Awards were released on October 1st and SHNU Cheung Kong Scholar Xuerong Mao won this award. First started in 2000, it aims at awarding outstanding scientists and researchers of great potential in the Universities of the United Kingdom. For four rounds every year, there are seven winners for each round.
Winning the title of Academician of Scotland Royal Academy of Science, Professor Mao is one of the pioneers of modern stochastic stability field and enjoys a strong reputation in it.
