SHNU：It is decided by the General Headquarters of CI (Confucius Institute) that the last Saturday of every September shall be the Global Day of CI. On September 24th, the third Global Day of CI began, followed by a series of activities, including China Film Culture Festival and China Culture Week. It was attended by Chinese Ambassador in Botswana Zhuqiang Zheng and Foreign Dean of CI of University of Botswana Part Mgadla.
Six Chinese movies were displayed at the festival. Chinese film development history was introduced, as well as famous directors and actors. During the Chinese Culture Week, some traditional Chinese cultural decorations were fused into the art works. The Chinse teachers showed their calligraphy, tea arts, folk costumes and musical instruments together with local volunteers.
