SHNU：Sponsored by SHNU and China Society of Natural Resources, the International Tourism on Sustained Tourism and National Park Management was held in SHNU. It involved over 100 participants from University of Washington, United States Geological Survey, Griffith University in Australia, Banff National Park in Canada, China State Oceanic Administration, and Shanghai Chongming Dongtan Birds National nature Reserve Administration, etc.
The issues of China National Park System Construction have been discussed and exchanges were made concerning the sustained tourism and the importance of ecological protection, revitalizing cultural heritage of nature and enhancing the environmental education of the public.
