SHNU：News came from the 16th International Pingyao (a city of China’s northern Shanxi Province) Photographer Show, a senior student from SHNU Tao Xia won the award of Emergiing Photographer Prize. This marks the 7th consecutive time that SHNU photography majors have received this title.
As one of the five internationally-renowned photography festivals of the world, Pingyao show attracts more than 500 exhibitions from 33 countries and regions. It also involves almost 15, 000 works of over 2, 000 photographers. The candidates are from as many as 80 well-known professional institutes and universities, such as Qinghua University, Beijing Film Academy, Communication University of China, Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts, and Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, etc.
