SHNU: The 2016 Opening Ceremony of Overseas Students was held at Jiaoyuanlou Building on September 18th. It was attended by SHNU President Ziqiang Zhu who delivered a speech to the 700 new students admitted in SHNU. It was also attended by SHNU College of International Studies, College of Business, and SHNU College of International Affairs.
Zhu briefed on the basics of the university after he extended warm welcome to the overseas students and his sincere hopes that they could overcome language barriers and adapt themselves to Chinese life here as soon as possible. The students representatives also spoke at the ceremony by quoting their life experience in SHNU and sharing their ideas with the new students.
Altogether, over 700 overseas students from as many as 59 countries (including South Korea, France, Indonesia, Thai, Japan, Russia, Mongolia and Vietnam) would soon start their learning in SHNU ICCS, College of Business, College of Humanities and Communication, College of Education, College of Laws and Political Sciences, College of Foreign Languages, Xieijin Film and TV arts College, College of Fine Arts and College of Tourism, etc.
