SHNU: Commissioned by Shanghai People’s Association of Friendship with Foreign Countries, a team made up of 10 SHNU students attended the 2016 Global Busan Startup Camp and held the project exchanges with youth representatives from South Korea and Japan from September 8th to 11th. Two students from SHNU College of Fine Arts and Humanities and Communication College formed a team with South Korean candidates and entered the final among 60 competing groups. The team finally won the runner-up for their program Global Halloween Day and were received by the Mayor of Busan, South Korea.
Three hundred candidates from China, Korea and Japan were divided into 60 teams. All team members have to live in camp tents and work out the startup programs within 48 hours. Each member has to meet the challenges of language barriers and hot weather.
This four-day camp marks the first time overseas experience that SHNU students have had in the exchange of their startup projects in a global backdrop.
