SHNU: This year, 2,800 new postgraduates were enrolled in SHNU, including over 140 doctor’s degree candidates, over 2,700 master’s degree candidates and about 40 overseas students. The SHNU leading authorities arrived on the scene and encouraged students to set up new goals while probing their academic fields.
The Postgraduates’ Opening Ceremony was held on both campuses on September 13th. It was also attended by directors of various colleges and departments, as well as teachers’ representatives, etc. After the ceremony, the students were oriented towards means of library and bibliography resources, information use and campus security precaution measures, etc. All these ensure them to better adapt themselves to the new campus life.
