SHNU: On June 16th, Krzysztof Piesiewicz, screenwriter from Poland, spoke at SHNU Xuesihu Overseas Masters’ Forum and exchanged with the audiences on the Movie Heritage of Kieslowski.
The movie screenwriter illustrated the movie production during 1980s and 1990s of Poland, the creative concepts of story plots, the philosophical views behind the works, and metaphysical realism that permeates in the movie.
Krzysztof Kieslowski graduated from Lódz Film School in 1969, and became a documentary, TV and feature film director and scriptwriter. He took the Grand Prix at Mannheim Film Festival and was best known for his creation of Red, Blue and White.
