SHNU: On May 14th, 23 overseas students arrived at Wujiang District of Suzhou City for a cultural experience, a program organized by SHNU Department of International Affairs. It was attended by SHNU overseas students of different majors and cultural backgrounds.
As one of the overseas students’ cultural experience bases designated by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, the Jingsi Garden of Suzhou, a beautiful garden city of China, features unique artistic styles of classic garden architecture. The Jingsi Garden boasts delicate design of bridges, halls, stone sculptures and bonsai, etc. The overseas students also tasted local snacks and rowed small boats while feasting their eyes on the Chinese traditional royal gardens.
It is noted that a lot more cultural activities would follow, including photography contest and boat racing.
