SHNU: It is released recently that Yang Zhongnan, SHNU professor from College of Life and Environmental Sciences was awarded May 1st Shanghai Labor’s Medal of this year.
Over the last decade, Professor Yang led his research team to work for the infertility mechanism of a model plant, arabidopsis thaliana and discovered that it exerts an important role of application in agricultural crossbreeding.
Professor Yang has owned a series of programs of natural sciences and 973 Key Plan funded by Ministry of Science and Technology and published over 40 SCI papers at well-known international journals.
