SHNU: Shanghai Writer Cheng Cang was commented as talented and versatile by Jia Pingao, a well-known Chinese writer. Recently, Cheng Cang Novelette Seminar was held at Wenyuanlou Building of SHNU. It was hosted by SHNU professor Yang Jianlong and Research Director of Shanghai Literature Research Center and attended by more than 20 scholars of the relevant field.
It is discussed at the seminar the causes of success of Cheng Cang’s novels, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of his creations. At the seminar, Cheng thanked participants for their arrival and delivered a speech We have Entered City Yet Why We Still Miss Hometown.
