On April 20th, the closing ceremony of 10th Ireland Month of SHNU College of Foreign Languages was held on Fengxian campus of SHNU. It was attended by He Li, General Consul of Irish Consulate in Shanghai, Ke Qinfei, Vice SHNU President and directors from various departments and teachers and students representatives of SHNU College of Foreign Languages.
The general consul expressed her thanks for SHNU in developing Ireland Month program for 10 consecutive years and hoped more Irish students could exchange with Chinese students. SHNU Bole Chorus Group sang Irish traditional folk song Danny Boy to wind up the closing ceremony.
At the ceremony, the students of SHNU English majors performed a few dramas and poem recital Easter 1916. Those who played an active role at the Irish Month were also awarded.
