SHNU: The Awarding Ceremony of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Conference was held on April 18th to encourage those outstanding science workers contributing to the development of innovation in Shanghai. It was attended by Han Zheng, Shanghai Party Secretary and Yang Xiong, Party Secretary of Shanghai Municipal Government and Shanghai Mayor.
Three programs of SHNU were awarded, namely, first prize from Professor Li Hexing for new catalyst synthesis, and two third prizes from Professor Han Mao’an for motivations system research and Professor Kai Guoyin for research on metabolism control of traditional Chinese medicine mechanism.
Altogether 313 programs won the awards, including 2 for scientific pioneers, 5 for international scientific cooperation, 31 for natural science, 32 for technological invention and 243 scientific progress.
