SHNU: On April 13th, a lecture themed Excellent Teachers’ Monthly Lecture sponsored by SHNU College of Mathematics and Science at No. 2 Lecture Hall of Conference Center of Xuhui campus. With the topic Preparing to be a Teacher Admired by Students, Fang Mengfei, the university guest professor, delivered the speech for SHNU teachers and students.
Professor Fang shared her own experiences with the audiences with witty remarks, including such anecdotes as how to develop students’ preferences for physics, why one should learn physics, and how to become an admired teacher, etc. She stressed the importance of classroom experiments and field experience to explore the knowledge. She even encouraged students to enjoy the process of probing science.
This year, it is decided that 7 special teachers from Shanghai would be invited to speak at SHNU as part of the program.
