SHNU: On April 6th, SHNU overseas students started exchanges activities with their Chinese counterparts for traditional customs experience, Chinese cuisine production and outdoor spring tour on Fengxian campus. Over 300 students attended the activity, among whom half are overseas students.
Chinese students introduced to foreign students about the origin and traditions of Qingming Festival. Particularly, the details of Qingtuan (sweet green glutinous rice ball) attract the most attention. They discussed the pictures of the festival food with surprise and excitement before they exchanged greetings and ways of contact through sending postcards to each other.
The SHNU overseas students were then led to cafeteria and tried to make spring rolls and wonton together while at the same time they kicked off conversation to boost the friendly atmosphere. After that, they were shown around the Fengxian campus and appreciated the unique architecture styles of teaching buildings and library.
