On March 23rd, the Campus Open Day, aiming at enriching the lives of SHNU international students, was successfully held in the International Students Centre.
The activities mainly consisted of three parts: introduction of scholarship policies and some main programs, followed by interactive games like table tennis, shuttlecock kicking, darts and quiz on students’ handbook. When students collect enough stamps, they will have chances to win different gifts.
International participants were quoted as saying that they not only acquired more about the policies of enrollment and scholarships, but also acquire more knowledge about Chinese culture, history and current situation of Shanghai and SHNU. An international student said that he really appreciated these activities, for his opportunities to understand Chinese games, and making new friends, even though he just started his learning in SHNU several months ago, he has been accustomed to his study and life here.
The Campus Open Day has been successfully held for many years. It evokes the interests and passions of international students, and help them become adapted to their studies and lives in SHNU.
