SHNU: According to Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a British organization working for rankings worldwide, 9 SHNU disciplines were included in the world’s first-class list. This year, 98 disciplines of Chinese universities meet the standard of top world-class, among which there are those from 11 universities in Shanghai. Worth mentioning, SHNU ranks 8th in Shanghai in terms of total number of selected disciplines.
