SHNU: On February 20th, the students of the SHNU Winter Vacation Learning Tour Program wound up and 30 teachers and students returned to Shanghai after spending a more meaningful and significant learning vacation in the University of Canberra (UC).
The students attended lectures and courses of language, cultural and education, including game learning from Caroline Kennedy, and demon training of writing skills from Dr. Steve Shawn, etc. The teachers of UC focus on students’ independent thinking abilities and encouraging students to exchange their ideas, so that students could benefit from conflicts of ideas and be inspired of innovative views.
Apart from listening to lectures on Australian higher education, the students were also offered free time to choose their own courses. They were allowed to audit any course chosen from the curricula and experience the fresh Australian university classrooms on their own.
