SHNU: The two short clips Let’s Wait Together and Another Man, created by SHNU youth teacher Wang Weiyu from Xiejin Film and Arts College, were selected by Portuguese Monstra International Animation Committee to be included in the display.
The Let’s Wait Together has been on show at quite a few animation festivals, including FANTOCHE (Switzerland), Anifilm (Czech), Anca (Slovakia), BeTHere! (Greece) and Animasyros, etc. The clip originates from a traditional Chinese proverb story and presented an almost-neglected awareness in social psychology.
Another Man was created during Wang’s period of visiting scholar in New York Film Academy in 2015.
The annual Monstra, first created in 2000, is one of the most famous animation festival in Portugal. It will be held in Madrid from March 3rd to 13th.
