SHNU: Recently, the Global Development Report of Public Culture Service sponsored by SHNU Research Center of Urban Culture was released and attracted attention and report from various media, including Jiefang Daily, Xinmin Evening News, Chinanews, Shanghai Daily, China Youth Online, and the ThePaper.cn, etc.
This is the second time that SHNU Research Center of Urban Culture has launched the index which involves the number of books borrowed from public libraries, number of cinemas per 100,000 people, number of large music halls, number of museum visitors, etc. The index would compare the public cultural service in 13 global cities, including Shanghai, London, New York, Paris, Singapore, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
