SHNU Overseas Student Win 1st Prize at Chinese Education Contest

SHNU: Recently, good news came that Ma Yinan from Botswana, a master’s degree candidate of Chinese education major, won the first prize at the CI Cup Teaching Skills Contest of International Education Students.
 
Sponsored by China National Hanban and Beijing Language and Culture University, the contest attracted 267 candidates from 50 universities, including 47 foreign contestants. The contest included four parts, self-introduction, education presentation, talent show and Q&A. The SHNU candidate Ma displayed strong language knowledge and Chinese language skills.
 
“Despite a black face and a red heart, I really love Chinese language and would like to promote sino-African friendship,” Ma is quoted as saying.
