SHNU: Sponsored by International Chorus League and Macau Association of Chorus Arts, the 2015 IFCM World CHRLD Expo and Awarding Ceremony were held in Macau on November 15th. The SHNU team stood out from other youth groups of mixed chorus to win the gold prize.
70 candidate teams and 16 performance troupes from 13 countries and regions attended the contest, with the judges composed of world-class conductors. The members used their impressive gestures and abundant tones to conquer the stage.
Although with a history of only three years, the SHNU Boyue Chorus Group has won first prizes for many times and can be recognized as one of the best chorus groups of its kind nationwide. As is quoted from one of the candidates, “Prize is not the goal, more is our feeling of singing glamor, and our joy in life pleasures and beauty.”
