SHNU: Recently, the 2015 Higher Education Cup CUMCM (China Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling) was held and 6 SHNU students won the first prize for the Shanghai Region Group. 3 students won the second prize and 12 students won the third prize at the CUMCM, Shanghai Region.
The annual contest was started since 1992, and has become the largest preliminary science contest of its kind. The team was made up of three students. The candidates should complete their essays within 72 hours by means of applying their expertise in math, computer programming and others.
